7-A-Side : Easter County Championships

Please find application forms below available to download and print off to participate in Larne Youth’s 7-A-Side competition to be held on Monday 9th April 2007, at Sandy Bay Playing Fields, Larne. We have sent letters to those we have been told are representatives of their Club, if this is not the case we would be grateful if you would pass this on to the relevant person. Should you need extra forms either contact myself or just make extra photocopies of the ones supplied.

As you can see there is space for the seven players and up to two substitutes, this is optional, but please remember that players can only play in their registered age group and for only one team within this age group.

We propose to hold the 1998, 1997, 1996, 1995 and 1994 groups in the morning with a start time of 10.00 am, changing rooms will be available from 9.15 am and the 1993, 1992, 1991 and 1990 groups in the afternoon with a start time of 2.00 pm, changing rooms available from 1.30 pm.

There will only be a maximum number of 10 teams permitted in each age group.

Fee for the competition is £25 per team and cheques should be made payable to Larne Youth, please do not send cash through the post as we have had problems with this before. Forms must reach us at the address shown by Saturday 7th April 2007 for inclusion in the competition.   

Larne Youth would in the spirit of sport like each team to come up with original names, and not just the name of their club, the funnier the names the better, but remember to keep them clean.

It is the responsibility of those in charge of teams to make sure that your team is registered correctly and that all players have proof of identification/age if required. Should there be any disputes on the day these will be dealt with by the Larne Youth Committee and their decision will be final. 

Changing facilities will be available, however as there will be a large number of teams participating each team will be asked to change and take their own belongings with them. It would be advisable to appear in tracksuits as this will ease congestion. Parking is available at Sandy Bay and at Larne Leisure Centre.

Also available on the day will be a wide range of hot and cold food from our kitchen as well as soft drinks, tea, coffee etc.
